Sex And Politics

I don't think most people really care about the personal sex lives of politicians. If only some politicians wouldn't be so morally outraged at other politicians pecadillo's, actions like Senator Ensign (R-NV) wouldn't amount to much. But the standard was set during the Clinton administration and the Lewinski affair (aka the Clenis). Not that President Clinton was the first public official to engage in such behavior, but he was the first to suffer a highly-partisan public lynching of a wildly popular President.

At some point, someone needs to call a truce and leave this sordid stuff to a single paragraph AP story. We have more important things to worry about than preachy two-faced sleaze bags.

"preachy two-faced sleaze bags"

Hey, that is no way to refer to our illustrious President and his royal court.

Sure, he sounds like a revival tent preacher and sure he comes from the sleaziest political cesspool of corruption known in politics as "Chicago".... but two-faced?

Just because he promised to close Gitmo, but isn't... promised to help gays get married but isn't, promised to immediately withdraw from Iraq but didn't, claimed to be a centrist but isn't, condemned the surge in Iraq then implemented it himself in Afghanistan, said I don't want to be in the auto business as he took control of GM and Chrysler, said I don't want to be in the banking business as he takes control of the banking industry, just because he said "no lobbyists" right before appointing a bunch of lobbysists to cabinet posts, just because he said we need to pay taxes but most of his cabinet picks hadn't paid theirs in years...... etc etc. THAT doesn't make him two faced.

As far as the sex goes... Barney Frank (D) wins the grand prize for running a gay prostitution operation from his basement and ending up being a hero to koolaid drinkers like you for it.
