The Oklahoma Migratory Patterns

Proud principle author of Oklahoma's new racist immigration law, Randy Terrill, R-Moore, wants to relocate all people of questionable pigmentation and citizenship from Oklahoma to south of the Rio Grande river. Mr. Terrill denies he is a racist, as does staunch xenophobe Lou Dobbs, but advocating for his bill he simply could not refrain from using tinted language like disease, drugs and crime. Oh yes, terrorism was part of his hyperbolic rhetoric as well.

The good people of Oklahoma have seen the face of a terrorist and witnessed the actions of terrorism up close and personal. I don't remember them being very brown at all.

Our state is celebrating its 100th anniversary by creating legislation deputizing hordes of vigilante racists working under color of law.

A $1000.00 fine and/or a year in prison is imposed on anyone helping someone of questionable pigmentation. Well, actually, it specifies illegal immigrants, but why take a chance? Landlords, employers seem to be the primary focus, but I guess it includes bus drivers and cabbies as well, due to the "transporting" language in the law.

Perhaps Mr. Terrill is not a racist, but his law allows racism to flourish in broad daylight under the color of law, and in a state named "Red Man" and was the tail end of the Trail of Tears, it is a sad way to begin our second century with history repeating itself.

People are frustrated with the immigration issue, but the state level is not where you deal with immigration. This is a bad law born out of frustration that will result in overt racism. People who cater to that particular base will find it slowly shrinking.

Where have ya' been? Okie Funk and sooner thought have gotten off to a big lead on ya... but with posts like this one...you're on the wrong track, which is good news for your efforts in the contest.

Do you even realize how idiotic your statement about "questionable pigmentation" is considering the high population of native Americans in Oklahoma? Last time I checked nobody was telling them to leave.

Why is it that liberals are the biggest racists of all?

'splain that one to me ricky.

BTW- in case you care about history or small details like that... Native Americans fought AGAINST Mexicans along side US cavalry, so your picture of native Americans...with guns... illustrates that it has nothing to do with skin pigmentation and everything to do with borders and disproves your entire piece written beneath it.

classic.

You might find this interesting...
Apache Mexican Border Wars since native Americans are as you termed "of questionable pigmentation" and THEY defended the border against Mexico (as well as fighting against the US army) then are THEY racist too?

just curious...

So sorry that you take umbridge to our new law here in Oklahoma. I like it, and it will be upheld, we pray.

Next stop-- reelecting Senator Inhofe!

red,

yes my post drips with irony. Thieves planting flags celebrate our 100th anniversary by enacting legislation in hopes of creating another long march of non-whites across another far-away river.

Clearly, the white power structure feels threatened by this nod-and-wink immigration policy that continued after Reagans amnesty, and now they are shocked.

Bill O'Reilly: But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you're a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say you've got to cap with a number.

John McCain: In America today we've got a very strong economy and low unemployment, so we need addition farm workers, including by the way agriculture, but there may come a time where we have an economic downturn, and we don't need so many.

[crosstalk]

O'Reilly: But in this bill, you guys have got to cap it. Because estimation is 12 million, there may be 20 [million]. You don't know, I don't know. We've got to cap it.

McCain: We do, we do. I agree with you.

Imagine, two guys whose names begin with O' and Mc fear the breakdown of the white Christian male structure.

Ay caramba!

Ohhhh I see, nowadays printing falsehoods and insults is 'irony'.

What was ironic is that YOU made an attempt to trash Native Americans during Native American Heritage Month.

I'd say that 'pathetic' is a better term... OR maybe 'dripping with racism' would be even closer.

I must have missed your tribute to veterans... considering how you 'support the troops' and all.

More Irony?

kittiestomper, your point of view is not supported by majorities of Americans of any, ANY political party.
This Rasmussen Poll released Sunday, November 11, 2007 undercuts your illegal immigrant embrace:
Rasmussen Poll here.

I am sure that if I, a Full Blood Choctaw from here in Oklahoma, wanted to come and live in your home, regardless of how you or your family felt, and eat your food, and use your electricity, all for free, you would have NO Problem with that?
Oh, you would?
How is that any different from illegal immigrants wanting to slip into America and live here, illegally?

I also resent your use of the photo on this post; I'll bet you borrowed it, without reading ONE word from the morningstar website you stole it from, didn't ya?
You kittiestomper, have alot to answer for, in your arrogance and pretensiousness.

Boy, I leave home for a few days and the place fills up with flying wingnuts who can't read without moving their lips.

A few points:
BTW- in case you care about history or small details like that... Native Americans fought AGAINST Mexicans along side US cavalry, so your picture of native Americans...with guns... illustrates that it has nothing to do with skin pigmentation and everything to do with borders and disproves your entire piece written beneath it.

Gee, taters, your view of history is, shall we say, polluted with cognitive dissonance.
You deal with it quite effectively, though, by picking a battle and completely ignoring the wholesale slaughter and displacement of Native Americans.

But my post was not about Native Americans at all. It is the continuation of seriously kicking some brown ass, the domestic version of our "War In Error".

kittiestomper, your point of view is not supported by majorities of Americans of any, ANY political party.
This Rasmussen Poll released Sunday, November 11, 2007 undercuts your illegal immigrant embrace:

I know. We still have a big problem of racism in this country.

I am sure that if I, a Full Blood Choctaw from here in Oklahoma, wanted to come and live in your home, regardless of how you or your family felt, and eat your food, and use your electricity, all for free, you would have NO Problem with that?
Oh, you would?

I take you for your word that you are "a Full Blood Choctaw," and of course, you have no idea of my nationality. But your argument appears to be backward. Are you not the original homeowner and everyone else is the rude and uninvited guest?

I find it odd that you defend racist legislation by the Government considering they owe Native Americans $176 Billion just in oil revenues.

Oh, and by the way,
What was ironic is that YOU made an attempt to trash Native Americans during Native American Heritage Month.

Cite the example or retract this lie. I see you posted something very similar over at your place.

Cite or retract.

So now I have to tell you what your own blog says? lol

I can't believe you've left the image of native Americans up while using their image to knock border enforcement, something they actually supported.

It is you who used terms like "questionable pigmentation" when the issue has nothing to do with skin color as I already demonstrated and as you already demonstrated with your picture...

You are a moron, with no concept of history except maybe Ward Churchill's version.

To use an image of native Americans
(dark skinned) to make a case for racism against (dark skinned) illegal aliens is pathetic.

I retract nothing, it is you who should be retracting, if anyone.

In fact, you should probably retract about 2/3 of your posts.
